Fun at the Wendts

My boys have so much fun playing with their cousins. It is so fun now that Ammon is running around instead of crawling. He's getting so big.

Take Home Library

I get to help with the take-home library this year in Kalli's and Aidan's class and I love it. A great thing about our school is that not only do they do the library for the younger kids but they do one for the older kids too. So basically, every grade has the opportunity to take a book home to read. Of course I think this is a great thing because I love books so much!

Happy Halloween!

So this picture was taken Halloween night before the kids went to their party and Kalli went trick-or-treating. Ammon had enough of the picture taking. Aaron was a lion the day before but since he decided to dip the lion's tail in the toliet and the costume was all wet we had to make up another one. Aidan's black shirt plus dark jeans (naturally his black pants were in the laundry) and a black and red cape and oila: he's.....something. Anyway, he didn't care and I was sick so I didn't care either.

Kalli-the sassy witch!

Kalli had a good time this Halloween. For the first time ever, I let her go trick-or-treating with her friends. Every year we go to my mom's for a party and this year I had strep throat so she had the option to go trick-or-treating around the neighborhood because I was home this year! I watched an episode of "Outer Limits" at home and it was more humorous than scary. It's a show that was made in the 60s and this episode was set in the future around 2011. I laughed because the telephone was an old rotary phone but had "video" so you could see who you were talking to. It really didn't look all that futuristic but they tried! Anyway, it was a fun show to watch while I was alone. Everyone else went and had a blast at the Pyne party. I will post pictures of the other kids costumes in the next blog.

"Cereal Killer"

So this is the pumpkin that Kalli's class did for school. Originally they had cereal instead of the cookies but it was deemed inappropriate so they had to change it to the cookies. I still think it was a really original idea.
