So here is my cute Ammon who got a buzz yesterday! His hair was so out of control as you can see from my blog a few days ago. I got tired of it and just shaved both Aaron and ammon's hair. He is cute with or without hair!

Aaron and his favorite shirt

So this is a pic of my grandma and Aunt and Ammon and Aaron. Aaron, of course, is wearing his Veggie Tale shirt that he got for Christmas. He is so funny! He wants to wear it every day. I will try and put it in the laundry sometimes and he will grab it out and take off whatever shirt he is wearing and put on his purple shirt. I have to be really sneaky when I wash it! So it is starting to shrink and pretty soon it will be Ammon's size. I will have to get him another one soon!!!
Diaper drive update
So I just thought I would write a little bit about the diaper drive I have been doing. So far we have collected 1266 diapers! THANK YOU so much those of you that gave me money to buy diapers and those that donated diapers! I surely appreciate it! I am still taking more donations but my goal was 1250 diapers and I met that. I don't take them up to Salt Lake until March 26th so we shall see how much more I collect this week.
New Car
So I didn't take a picture yet but yesterday we bought a second car. We knew that we probably needed to get one soon because we have three drivers in the family now but we were putting it off as long as possible to save money. It is funny...I never really thought about it but every one of my siblings who are all younger than me (except my single sister who really doesn't need two cars) has two vehicles! We had two vehicles when we were first married when we lived in Montana. But we really didn't need two. When we moved to Utah, we just had the one. So, anyway, what a blessing it is for us! My mom and dad decided to get a new car (a very nice red car!!!) and they sold us their 1998 Altima. My dad takes such good car of his cars that this was such a steal!!! Anyway, it is a stick shift so Kael will be able to learn how to drive it soon and that will be good too. We have been blessed so much lately. I really don't deserve it.
Why did the chicken cross the road?
So I don't know why this made me laugh but I was driving to the fitness center one day and there was this chicken walking around the road. It just struck me funny because we were in the city. I didn't have my camera so I went to my parent's house which was super close and begged my sister Katie to come take a picture. She probably thinks I am a crazy woman but she was sweet and took some pics. Maybe it is a little crazy but I like to be enthusiastic about life and I find a lot of joy in the little things!
Kalli and Ammon

Kalli had Ammon by her on the love seat and gave him a cracker and before he even ate it, he fell asleep with it in his hand! Kalli is such a good help to me. In the last couple of months she really has grown and matured a lot. She babysits for me a lot more than she used to. Last Wednesday, I was so sick that I couldn't even come out of the bathroom. I was stuck there from 7 a.m. till about 2 p.m. Scott was getting over bronchitis and had already taken a bunch of sick days so I didn't want him to stay home with me. Kalli stayed home from school and took care of me and took care of the two little boys. I don't know how I would have gotten through the day without her. The boys had to be watched and I just was so sick. I am so grateful for her and the service she gave us all. She made up her school work okay and the next Wednesday, she was sick and I got to take care of her! Hopefully we are done being sick. Happy Spring!
Ammon

Ammon's hair is so out of control in this picture! I gave him a little haircut on his side and forehead but it is so hard to cut toddler's hair! In the back, it is getting so long but he has my curly hair gene so luckily it is a big curl in the back instead of so long down his back. He is growing up so fast. He will be 20 months next week and I just can't even believe it!
Countdown!

This is our countdown poster that we have hung up in our kitchen for our trip to Disneyland. Every day, one of the kids takes a piece of the chain off and when they are all gone, it's time to vacation!!! This is helping Aaron better to not ask every day "Are we going to Disneyland today?" Now he knows exactly when we are going. Maybe we shouldn't have told the kids so far away from the date but it is fun to look forward something.

Diaper Drive

So I am trying to get this information anyway that I can and that includes my blog. If you aren't interested, then just ignore! Anyway, I am collecting diapers for charity. I am collecting for Utah Charities-- little angels project for Feed the poor.
If possible, I am looking for pampers or huggies since they do points for charity. Sizes needed are size 1-6. For those who wish to help out more...wipes and sealed baby formula can be donated also with the diapers. I am really excited to participate in this and it gives me a good feeling that I am making a difference! My goal is collect at least 750 diapers by March 26th and then I will drive it up to Salt Lake and donate it. This is through Utah Charities. The way I got involved with this is went to the Disney site where they have a program that you give a day, get a day. I think this is a great program! And you know, even if I didn't earn the day to Disneyland, I would still do this and I am glad for this opportunity! I just hope that we as a Family can get donations!!! Wish me luck! And if you can donate, I would surely appreciate it!

Running the 5K
It's official...I signed up to run the Freedom Festival 5K race in Provo this summer July 5th. I think it will be a good experience. But I really need to get serious about training. My goal is to run it faster than I did the Orem 5K run last summer (45 minutes). I am not really a runner so this has been a great way to stretch myself. I will sign up for the Orem 5K run this summer which is June 12th. This has been a good motivation for me to walk and run the track every day. Wish me luck!
Be careful for what you wish for...you may get it.
New Couch
So this is the old couch....I am thrilled that it has a wonderful home and will be used. It was my in-laws couch when they were on their mission in Salt Lake two years ago and then Roy got pancreatic cancer. The last day that I saw my Father-in-law alive was 2 years ago when they brought the couch to us. It has good memories and I'm not sorry we had it. But it wasn't very comfortable for me and the cushions always came out and it was a tall person's couch not for a shorty like me. Anyway, we will enjoy our new couch so much. It is the first couch that Scott and I have ever bought in nearly 17 years of marriage. Thank goodness for a good tax refund this year so we could get a new couch and trip to Disneyland!
