I haven't blogged for awhile. May was a crazy month with all the activities that come with the ending of school. Kael graduated from Seminary and from High School which added to the craziness. Kalli and I ran a 5K Running with Angels with my mom and sisters. This pic right above is Kalli with her new haircut and she is holding Ammon. We have had a both fun and frustrating summer. We have had some fun activities like swim lessons, 7 peaks, Wizard of Oz at the SCERA shell, playing with cousins, summer camps, and holiday fun. But on the ho hum days with nothing planned, it has been very hard. Especially when I have all these projects I want to do and I need to supervise kids getting chores done and then listen to the Mom, I want to play Wii! I want to play computer!!! I am really getting worn out every day listening to that from the kids. Plus nagging a certain new adult in the family to get a job....has made for some frustrating days. All in all it hasn't been bad and we still have some very fun activities to look forward to. Next week is a family reunion and girls camp and that will be a blast. I have to admit that I have been counting down the days to school starting all summer though. Somedays, I wish I was the mom that loved having her kids close all the time and dreaded them going to school but I'm not. I do love my kids dearly but I really cannot wait to have them all in school learning and growing and for me to have a couple hours to myself.
