Okay maybe I shouldn't have posted this picture of my bedroom but I need to vent! This is a picture of it a couple of weeks ago and today it is worse!! I get mad at my kids and am always on them to keep their bedrooms clean and look at mine!! What I need to do is clean it a little at a time when I have little snatches of time. The reality of the situation is when I go into it, I can hardly stand it and I turn around a go out of it! I would love to just have 6 hours of interrupted time to do a thorough cleaning-yeah right like that is going to happen!! But I can wish. I am so embarrassed that it looks this way that maybe that is enough motivation for me to just clean it so I can post the "clean picture" and so everyone won't think I'm a slob. My husband's side is not pictured and his side is pretty clean now. I have papers and pictures and "stuff" everywhere. I sleep on the loveseat because of the baby (likely excuse!) and because I can't get into bed because of the mess!!! Well, here is another challenge for me to clean my room. Now if I could just find time to dehydrate the fruit (my parents lent me their food dryer and I am making dried plums and apples!), clean the kitchen and livingroom, do the checkbook, go grocery shopping, help the kids with their homework, do the laundry, feed the baby........

I'm so glad to see that others have the same problem! LOL For the most part, my house is clean, but my room. I don't know about you, but that's where everything gets put in a rush to clean house. LOL Thanks Kari. It makes me feel better to know I'm not the only one. lOL
I have another food dryer if you want to borrow it :) Make your time with the food drying go faster, let me know. My room isn't that bad...only because I took a few minutes the other day and picked up trash. That was a lot by the way :) I picked up laundry too and then there was the FLOOR!!! need some help? Ship your kids off over here you might get something done. LOL Give me a call
I feel your pain! If I am cleaning my room is where I pile stuff. I have slowly cleaned it out so now the only place I have to pile stuff is the dresser. I tell myself once I buy a new dresser, I will keep it clean. I doubt that will happen though!

My room is the dirtiest room as well. Well not so much dirty as cluttered! Just when I get stuff cleaned off the dresser, 10 more things appear. My pet-pieve is the dresser clutter, which is where Erik puts all his stuff. Erik's pet-pieve is the bookshelf clutter, which is where I put all my stuff. We can never get away from it! It's frustrating! I feel your pain!
When I was growing up, our family had a "catch-all" room...it was supposed to be the office, but really it was stacked high with baskets and boxes of "stuff" that we tried to clean up from other rooms when company came over! (: Somehow that experience scared me for life and cured me of my "pile-up" syndrome...so think of it this way...your kids houses might be spotless!!!! (:
