I have a bunch of random thoughts today so here goes. I love this holiday season! I got some Christmas cards in the mail yesterday that just made my day! I love reconnecting with friends that I haven't heard from in years. Sometimes the holiday cards are the time that I get to catch up on how people are doing. I love the music, I love the cards and pictures. Speaking of pictures, above is our family picture. It is the first updated one with all of us including Ammon. We took several and by the end of the photo taking, Aaron (my two year old) was done. He doesn't like sitting still very long. I enjoyed the snow we got today probably because Scott drove himself to work today and I didn't have to drive in it! We haven't got this much snow for a long time!!! It just makes it feel like Christmas! Today I fed Ammon baby cereal for the first time. He didn't like it much. He slurped a couple bites down and then turned his head. I didn't push it though. We will take solids nice and slow. He is four and half months now. He has plenty of time. this morning, I was in a baking mood so I though i would make some rolls. I am exhausted now! Aaron can open doors now so while I was making the rolls, he kept getting into the bathroom and playing in the toliet and sink. I had to change his shirt because everytime I pulled him out of the bathroom, he got dough on him because my hands were covered from making rolls. Plus he was wet from getting into the sink! Ammon slept a little but then woke up and he was screaming wanting to be held. I was just thinking to myself, "this wasn't such a great idea!" But I had started and i couldn't stop in the middle of the project! Well, I got the rolls made and the smell and taste delicious but it was a lot of work!!!

Kari, I'm so glad to see you have a blog. It's fun to see your family and how grown up your kids are. Congratulations on your new little guy. I'm going to add you to my favorites. =)
Don't you hate it when the kids progress when you not quite ready. I'm glad that your hands are full too. Can I just say that I love prozac?
KJP!!! so good to hear from you! what a darling family you have. i am glad to find you on here. we will have to keep in touch!
Hi Kari Jean,
This is Brother Stone, I just wanted to tell you what a beautiful family you have. I'm so glad that my girls have stayed in contact with you. You girls were a fierce Basketball team together. I sure enjoyed watching and cheering you girls on. I'll bet you didn't think I would remember those highly competitive games that you girls were in, did you? Merry Christmas to all of your family. This is a nice blog that you have.
Oh the joys of toddlers! Did you know that the name Aidan means "little fire". I learned that from a friend of mine that just had twins. The first one who is very content and quiet is Adam, and the 2nd one that is a little fire ball...was in NICU for a little bit and has quite the personality is named Aidan. I thought how fitting that your "little fire" is named Aidan too. Aidan is so cute...just remember that when he's getting into the bathroom sink.:)
Kudos to you for attempting to make rolls with two little ones running around. I don't think I ever attempted that without Erik around or at least without my bread maker to do the dough for me!
Merry Christmas! Wish we weren't so far away!
