Well I don't know if this is the solution but I was so exaperated with Aaron's antics today (getting into the food in the pantry, making messes everywhere, trying to escape outside.....) that I finally brought the carseat into the house at 4:30 p.m. and buckled him in. Well, ten minutes later, he was fast asleep. He didn't fuss or cry or nothing. I buckled him in, he looked at me and just sat there. So now since he has taken a late nap, there goes bedtime. Sigh. You know in just 17 short months, Aaron will be four and will past these difficult ages of two and three, but then Ammon will be two!! Arggggghhh! Sorry for complaining. I guess that is what a blog is good for! I feel better already!

I so feel for you. The carseat was a great idea (although that's debateable becuase of the late nap/bedtime ruined thing.) And you are not complaining, you are venting. There is a difference. You are allowed to vent any time you need to. It's amazing how much better we feel right after we're done venting.
Oh, Kari-I know the feeling. And I've done the carseat thing before as well. Even a moment of sanity to regain your composure is worth it. I had forgotten about that option, thanks for the reminder. Hope you have a better day tomorrow.
that is an awesome idea, I've never thought about it. LOL, that will be my next attempt at a 2 year old.....just so you know, with they turn 4 it doesn't get any better in my experience, they just older and bigger to reach more stuff :)
You crack me up Kari. I love the quote from your sister on the side "There is light at the end of the tunnel. I just hope it's not a train." =)
I so am in your exact same boat. i took notes about the car seat idea. You are brilliant. I will have to do that the next time I am at my wits end.
