We had a very fun day at the park today. It is always hard for me to get the boys together and get there but once I'm there, I am always glad that I made the effort. The boys had fun on the swings and the slide and it was such a beautiful day outside! I had something really weird happen to me yesterday. We went to my grandma's for a memorial day BBQ and to celebrate my grandma's birthday in the afternoon and I felt fine. Then just before we sat down to eat, I got so sick!! I had to go in the house and I was in pain and then Scott had to take me home. I was sick for about 30 minutes and then I was fine. Weird huh. Everybody thought that I had the flu that everyone in the family had a couple of weeks ago but a day later I'm still healthy as a horse. Go figure. I was kind of upset though that I missed all that good food though. Oh, well. I am happy that I'm not sick. That is wonderful. I don't know if I have put it on my blog that I have a new church calling. I am the primary secretary now and I love it. The administrative things I do I just love and I love being with the kids too. It is wonderful. It has been really great. This week is my last week being with my activity girls and I will miss them. I won't really be leaving them since I get to see them at church in Primary!! So that will be good.

That is an odd illness. I'm glad you are feeling better and aren't sick anymore. Sorry you had to miss out on all of the yummy food. Looks like your boys had fun at the park.
I'm happy for you and your new calling. I'm sure the girls will miss you at Activity Days.

When Dakota saw the note that the activity for Activity Days was to say goodbye to you she screamed. She didn't know you wouldn't be her leader anymore and was very sad to hear you had been released. I'm sure you will enjoy your new calling just as much. I can't wait to start going to the park more often. It looks like you had a good time.
It is a pain in the bum to get thekids and ll thei gear oaded up in the car to go to the park. But you are so right it is VERY worth it. They get to play and work offsome of that energy.
