Ammon is 14 months now and I just c can't believe how big he is growing. I need to let him feed himself more often but this picture shows why I don't. I really hate messes! He had a good time though and then he got to have a bath which he enjoyed too. I have really been horrible at keeping up with my blog. I think I did better when I first started and I had less time and a newborn baby! I don't know why that is. Anyway, I just love the Fall season! It is so fun to see the leaves falling and the pumpkins and the holidays are beginning! It is fun to have the kids excited about Halloween and their fun school activities that they do. We had Parent Teacher Conference yesterday and Aidan and Kalli are doing very well in school. We just need to work a little bit on ATTITUDE with Kalli and staying on task with Aidan. It was fun to visit with their teachers about them. Scott has been working on our apples. We had buckets and buckets from our two trees. He canned over 30 quarts of applesauce. Tomorrow I hope to do some salsa. We had so many peppers in our garden. Next year we want to plant a lot more tomatoes--we didn't really get a lot this year. It is fun to see the pumpkins in our garden. I think pumpkins and grapes are about all we have left to take care of. Sorry I'm a little bit random today. I found out today that a neighbor of mine, Pat Cryer, passed away last night and I feel a little emotional. When we first moved into this ward over 7 years ago, one of my first callings was to serve in the Relief Society presidency with Pat. She was the first counselor and I was secretary. She was a wonderful lady and I will miss her so much.

Oh, that's sad to hear about Pat. Thanks for the info. Do you know when the funeral services will be?
I'm glad you're enjoying your Fall season. That's something I really miss about Utah.
I have been sad today hearing about her. I adored her. She was a neat lady. Very honest. I loved her sincerety. I wish we were there to be there for the funeral....that's 2 now I've missed. Dang it. I love to see Ammon grow also, Theron is just as messy. keep up the posts I know you can do it. Just know that this is how I keep track of your family so far away :) We love and miss yours ;)
I'm so sad to hear about Pat. She was the sweetest lady! I'm right there with you, Ty :( It's so sad to not be able to go to the funerals.
I can't believe how old your kids are getting, Kari! And it sounds like you had a great harvest. This has always been my favorite time of the year too :)
Wow that was a great harvest! Were you able to can on your flat top stove or did you have to do it somewhere else. You have the exact same stove we do and we were told that you couldn't can on it. Please let me know because we are looking forward to canning from our garden next year and were wondering if we could do it on our stove.
I still have a hard time letting Megan feed herself if I know it will be very messy. Occasionally if I'm in a good mood I will let her feed herself a messy food just to let her have fun.
I am so sorry to hear about Pat. She was a wonderful lady like you said and will be very missed.
So sorry to hear about Pat.
Congrats to Kael on all his scouts stuff and to you for your harvest.
Kari, thanks for posting about Pat, I hadn't heard. I am still a little shocked. I loved those old Relief Society times together. I'll miss her.
