This is Kael practicing the piano while he is watching Ammon for me. Pretty good multi-tasking I would say! We have had our piano for a little over six months now and just enjoying it so much. Kalli is taking piano lessons from my friend, Susan and doing so well. She is a natural. She hasn't been able to practice much lately because of her sickness. Yesterday, I took her to the doctor and we found out that her eardrum burst and she has a double ear infection! She is feeling better today though. Hopefully, she will be back to school soon. The end of the term is Friday for Kael and I have been praying hard that he will stay healthy. So far, he has been fine. I am so proud of how well he is doing in school. I think he is getting A's and A-'s this term. Way to Go, Kael!! Friday is the Mountain View vs. Orem football game and I was planning on taking Kalli and Aidan while Kael plays in the pep band. I think that even if Kalli is feeling better, she needs to stay home to make a full recovery! Aidan loves sports and he is so looking forward to going. Our primary program is this Sunday and I am hoping and praying that Kalli (and the rest of the primary kids for that matter!) is healthy enough to participate. She has a talk and she and I are singing "A Child's Prayer". Hopefully, it will all work out! You know, I started feeling a little sorry for myself yesterday for how this week has been going but that stopped immediately after I talked to a friend of mine. She had her purse stolen this week and has had to get everything replaced (driver's license, credit cards, etc.) plus some other trials have happened to her. The school sent home a note the other day that a fourth grader at the school who struggled with seizures passed away. Everyone has their trials and tribulations. I'm thinking that mine are very small and I am so thankful for all the blessings that I enjoy. I have NO reason to feel sorry for myself!!!

Kari, glad to hear Kalli is on the mend. I think we all get a little overwhelmed from time to time with all we have to deal with and the individual trials we must face.
Your comment reminded me of something a friend said to me once. Her son was killed in an automobile accident on his way to his high school graduation. She knew I was dealing with some hardships in having my husband go apostate...anyway, she said, "We would all rather go through our own Gethsemane than someone elses..."
That picture is a riot - so cute!
