Today marks 8 years in our house. I remember in December 2001 we started thinking about moving out of our apartment and getting a house. Things just weren't working out and I was so discouraged. I thought we will never, ever, ever, be able to afford a house!!! We were in a 2 bedroom apartment and Kael was 7 and Kalli was 3. I wanted so badly to have another baby but really we had no more room in our apartment. I am so amazed at how much Heavenly Father loves me and He knows the right time for things in my life. I was so amazed at how fast we got into our house. In our old ward, we showed up to church one Sunday in January and said, "This is our last week...we bought a house and we are moving." It was so sudden how things worked out. So anyway, we moved into our house and spent our first night here on January 29, 2002. I remember how different things were and it was so weird to be in a different place. We have added three more boys to our family in 8 years and it has been wonderful. We have so many fantastic memories in our house. I can't imagine being anywhere else. I love it here in Orem and I love my ward and I really love being so close to my extended family. Happy Anniversary, house!!!

Kari, that was a cute post. It's fun to remember and share those memories.
BTW-Janet's group does meet on Tuesdays, it use to be Mondays but there a was conflict at the Scera so it was changed to Tuesdays. When Janet asked me if I knew of anyone that might be interested I immediately thought of Kalli, but I wasn't sure if she a involved in Annie. Darn it!

I had forgotten that we moved into that ward so close to when you bought that house! We came that same spring! We really loved that ward!
I can not believe that you have been there for 8 years already. I remember we were living in Portland at the time and in college. You called us and let us know you were in your new home. I couldn't even imagine ever owning a house, I was so excited for you. Congratulations.
