So Saturday was Scott and my 17th wedding anniversary and we went to the Anniversary Inn. We stayed in the Italian Room (Venice) which was so awesome. It had a fountain and a jetted tub and it was so awesome! My parents and sister took care of my kids while we were gone. It was so nice to get away and not have responsibility for a little while. The break did me good. We went to the Salt Lake Temple Saturday which was awesome except that I coughed through the whole session. It was neat to see all the young couples getting pics taken on the temple grounds. Except they looked so young! I was never that young was I? Time flies so fast. It seems like yesterday that Scott and I were newlyweds and we have been moving through the stages of life. It is going to fast...soon we will have a missionary and then we will have an empty nest before we can blink! Anyway, it was nice to have some time alone and I so appreciate my family for making it possible because I know my boys are a lot of energy!

Oh I bet it was so nice to get away for a little bit. Happy Anniversary. You made me so sad with the mentioning of the missionary and empty nest comments. It is so true. We get so busy and caught up in the scramble of life that we forget to stop and cherish every second. Even the eggs on the floor. Love You
