So I just wanted to show a picture of how I keep my piano closed so my boys can't bang on it. it is a latch that I put on my fridge to keep them out of the fridge. The funny thing is, Ammon has figured out how to use it on the fridge--he unlatches it easy. But for some reason, he hasn't figured it out on the piano. so it keeps it safe from little fingers. Then whenever I want to practice, I unlatch it and play! I have been practicing so much more since I got the piano and it has been such a blessing. I can play a lot more hymns now and a lot of the primary songs. I am aspiring to someday be good enough to be a primary pianist. I'm not there yet but getting there. I love my piano! Thanks, TY!

My piano

I have to honestly say that when I saw your title to this entry my heart started pounding. Then when I was trying to figure out what was the white thing on the piano, my heart began to sink.....Then I read it. I'm relieved....lol...I miss my piano so much. I'm so glad that I choose to let your family end up with it. Everytime I see your blog entries and I can see the piano in the background I stare at the picture and wish it was still mine. I've been known to cry over it too....but how truly I am grateful that you and your family are so blessed to have it in your home. Thank you Kari, and your family for loving my mom's piano as much as I did. It's gone through Hell and back, but it's still making talents come alive and that's all that matters. Love you guys. Thanks for posting it....I feel it was for me :) it probably wasn't but I needed this post :)
