I had such a busy week last week and a hard one. I just had a lot of trials bombard me and I'm glad to be done with last week and start with a new one this week. Just some thoughts that I've had the past week:
- I am so glad for the gospel in my life. I would be in the depths of despair if I didn't have the knowledge that Jesus Christ is my Savior and that the atonement is real. If you take His yoke upon you, he will help you carry any burden you have.
- Small things mean a lot. I had a crazy day Thursday when life was just crashing around me and a ward member brought us dinner. It probably didn't seem a big deal to her, but to me, it was so helpful. We can really help bear one another's burdens and it doesn't have to be a big thing. I find I can have the best intentions to do something "big" but it doesn't happen because it is too involved or takes too much time. If I would break it down to something small, I'm more likely to do it.
- Everyone gets discouraged and down every once in awhile and you need to just try and be as positive as possible. If you have the choice to laugh or cry, choose laugh!!!
- Good friends are so important. I'm so glad for the friends that my kids have that strengthen them and make them better people. It is important to have good friends and be that good friend.
- Daylight Savings Time stinks. I really needed that extra hour of sleep.
- Okay one good thing about daylight savings is it's Monday morning, no school and all my kids slept in later than normal so I got some time to myself. (See I'm trying to be positive!)

Great thoughts - so true!
I'm trying to work on a more positive outlook, too. And I agree - one bonus from daylight savings is that my kids slept in the last two mornings.
