We have three birthdays in our family in September, Kalli, Aaron and Scott. We celebrated Aaron and Kalli's on Labor Day at my grandma's. Kalli was really happy because she got to spend the weekend overnight with my mom and dad and they took her to Harry Potter Part 2. So I got her this little book on the making of the movie and she was pretty happy. The only thing that Kalli wanted for her birthday was an IPOD touch or an IPOD. She has spent many months trying to convince Scott and I that she really needs one. Well, she didn't get those but she got a less expensive MP3 player (not from Wal-mart so therefore not a piece of junk) She was really excited about that even though it wasn't an IPOD touch. She has really enjoyed listening to her music. and we got her and armband that she put the MP3 player in and not have to carry it around in her hand. So she was pretty happy. Aaron got just what he wanted: three Veggie Tale movies. He has been in heaven. So we had a pretty fun time celebrating birthdays. Aaron turned five but missed the deadline for school so he has to wait till next year to go to kindergarten. Kalli is a teenager now and so I have two! So weird.
We finally succombed and this past week signed up for Netflix (which we really have enjoyed) and so now Aaron can watch all the Veggie Tales he wants. Although, I have been being careful about how much time we spend in front of the T.V. It is really easy to get out of control and just watch Netflix all day. But, we have made an effort to be productive and in the mornings, after the older ones go to school, the little boys and I play school. We read books and practice writing and go on websites like Starfall.com that have some really fun educational games. It is great to be getting back to normal. I am up to 102 pounds now and my appetite is back. I am still trying to get my energy level back but other than that, I think I'm back to "normal". I have really scaled back my life though and I'm really trying to concentrate on my family and being there for my kids when they get home from school. Who knows, maybe in a few weeks I'll feel like doing more but right now I'm happy to just live as simple as possible. Life is Good.

I am so glad that you are feeling better. I can not believe how sick you have been. I am glad that you have been able to focus on the most important things, and have been able to let the other things go. Isn't it weird how Heavenly Father teaches us these things in ways we really have to humble ourselves in order to get through.
I also can't believe that you have two teenagers.
