We had a fun Halloween weekend this year. Our ward party was lunch and trunk-or-treat in the afternoon and I was so glad we went. I won a gift card to Target for my witch costume which surprised me (a lot) but it was a lot of fun. the kids collected way to much candy. Then Monday we got to go to Scott's work and they had a trick-or-treating thing there and the kids again got more candy....halloween night we went to Grandma and Grandpa Pyne's house and had fun celebrating there.  The kids got yet more candy...sigh.  But we enjoyed mom's homemade hamburger soup and chili and pizza. it was fun to visit and hang out together with my extended family.  The kids had fun dressing up but by Monday, Ammon was done wearing his costume so he went around as himself. Halloween has been a difficult holiday for me to like...I am not creative and it is hard for me to think up costumes and I don't like all the candy. I actually gave out Halloween pencils this year. not that I was home a lot that night to give them out since I was partying at the Pyne's but oh, well! We had a fun holiday weekend though and now we have Thanksgiving to look forward to!
