Be careful for what you wish for...you may get it.

So for days I have been staring at the open space between the living room and kitchen wishing that I could block it off. I like the idea of having my kitchen and living room separate and have it so that people couldn't see my kitchen when it gets really dirty. I thought about a gate (too expensive for how big I wanted) or a some doors or something but I just couldn't make anything work. My brother got a new computer desk and gave us his old one. It is just perfect to block off right between the livingroom and kitchen!!! So now that I got what I want, I'm not sure that I want to keep it. There have been some disadvantages that I didn't think of....like I brought groceries in and it was less convenient getting them in. The kids have been so used to being able to go in and out that doorway that they are not liking the change. Oh, well. We will get used to the change and I do like having a separate kitchen and livingroom. It's just scary though...I wanted it blocked off and suddenly it's blocked off! I wanted a new couch...I got a new couch. It seems like lately I have been getting a lot of things that I've always wanted! SO, just be careful for what you wish for....you may get it!
