The last week or so, I have really been not feeling my best. I hate to complain because I know there are those out there that deal with chronic pain every day and I have had it easy compared to them. I just have not felt up to par which is really unusual for me because I tend to enjoy wonderful health. I have had to make a greater effort to be kinder to my family because I get really grumpy when I'm not feeling well. It is a fact of life for me that when I'm not feeling well, I still get to do my mom duties. I am grateful to be a mom but sometimes, it would be nice to just be sick and not have to do anything and not have to worry about anybody. Enough of that. I'm on the mend just in time for school to start!
Next week, school starts for three of my children. Aaron has an appointment to be tested for preschool but we won't know if he made it in until maybe the 29th. If he doesn't, then we will have a fun year with two little boys at home and if he does, Ammon and I will have some alone time which will be nice. We will just have to see what happens. This year, I have three different schools to keep track of. Aidan is in elementary, Kalli is at the jr. high and Kael is a senior in high school. Three different schedules....but we have had so much together time this summer, my kids are ready for some space. I'm excited for them to go back to school and do some life learning, academic learning and social learning. We have shopped for new school clothes, got the school supplies and are ready for a great school year! Hooray for school! (And really; where did the summer go...it went so fast!!!)

Isn't it interesting to read this post where you appologise for not feeling well and being grumpy when in just hours you would be in surgery? Listen to your body more!
