It has been 8 1/2 years since I have written on this blog. A lot has happened. My babies have grown up to be teenagers. I am so proud of my family. My eldest went on a mission and come back and graduated from college and now owns a home. My daughter went to college, got her a degree and a husband (a really great guy!) and lives close enough now that we can bake cookies and go shopping together! My middle son is on a mission in Washington State and my two youngest are at home in junior high. I have been reading back on some of my blog entries and those were precious days. I was in survival mode for most of it but I look back on it fondly. They were hard days but I do miss my little ones. I miss being a stay-at-home mom but I love my job I have now. I am spoiled because I only work part-time in the mornings and because I work at the elementary school, I get a lot of holidays and time off that most people don't get. So I can't complain. Plus I enjoy working with the kids. I enjoy reading with my boys so much. One thing that I am proud of about my family is we are a book of readers. My eldest son reads with his brothers and I read with them too. We have read so many fun book series. My favorite was a few years ago when the three of us read Harry Potter together for the first time. Good times. Life is really good.
