So we finally broke the news to our kids where we were taking our family vacation this summer. Since Scott has never been a huge fan of going to Disneyland, they didn't really believe him. This is how the conversation went: Scott--So, Kael, if you could go anywhere in the world, where would you go? Kael-Montana!!! He asks the same thing of Kalli; her response: Grandma's House! He asks the same thing of Aidan--he says, "I think I just want to stay home." I say, "Kael, how would you like to go to DISNEYLAND!!!!" He says nothing. I say, "You're supposed to say by plane...." This is an inside joke because when Kael was 8 and my aunt Mary Ann was telling him that they were going to take him to Disneyland that summer, this was the same conversation they had. Anyway, the kids really didn't act all that excited but it was because they really didn't believe it. This morning I said, "Well, you don't seem all that excited to go to Disneyland this summer so maybe we just shouldn't go." That got their attention!! Moans and WE WANT TO GO! I think that Aaron is more excited than any of the kids---he keeps asking me, "Can we go to Disneyland, now?" It is going to be a long wait!!!Disneyland! My favorite Vacation Spot!!

Summer Vacation plans

I wanna go too. I'm excited for you. I remember the first time I went to Disneyland. I was 5 and my parents came in our room early one morning and told us to get packed because we are going to Disneyland in an hour. That was the best wake-up call ever. It will be a long wait for your kids but that's part of the fun.
How exciting!
When you know exact dates let me know...we live super close to Disneyland... I can't make any promises based on timing (afterall, my baby is due right around then)...but if you were interested, we could look into having you stay at our house and you can save on hotels!
So much fun. You are good parents. Here we are living in California, and we have never been to Disneyland. I keep having babies, and disneyland is just not too much fun while pregnant of with a baby. Hopefully it will happen soon. I am so excited for you guys.
